Prithvi Shaw did live up to the hype on his much-anticipated India debut, notching up a well-deserved three-figure score. Opting to bat, India lost KL Rahul for a blob in the first over of the day but the youngster settled the nerves with a 206-run second wicket stand with Cheteshwar Pujara. Shaw brought up his maiden Test ton shortly after lunch hitting Keemo Paul to the backward point boundary. He was dismissed at the stroke of tea by Devendra Bishoo, for a well made 134.
